Responsibilities
- Help, schedule, support, and drive the design teams
- Facilitate communication across teams. Organize and moderate recurring calls, kick-offs, scrums. Structure communication with agendas, notes, action points.
- Clarify and align expectations and requirements between teams.
- Occasionally serve as an objective feature owner on a gameplay or user interface feature.
- Help maintain scope and vision. Help playtest, review, collaborate with stakeholders. Manage feedback loops and review sessions.
Prioritize, triage. - Set up roadmaps and milestones. Help set up plans. Review and update the plan, follow up on its execution. Track work and react to new input.
- Actively help teams reach their goals. Support, unblock, solve problems, get answers to questions, clarify, chase decisions…
- Set up pipelines and processes for waterfall or iterative production.
- Report: lay out tables, dashboards, and overviews.
Requirements
- Great verbal and written English skills.
- Experience with game production, systems design, combat design, UI design production in game development.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, Jira, Miro, Confluence.
- Self sufficient with computers.
- Voice of reason and the reality check in the room
- Problem-solving skills, going into finishing mode, identifying correct priorities
- Is a gamer and an RPG gamer.
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with the technical side of game development: engines, frameworks, scripting and programming languages.
- Experience with visual layout, usability.
- Experience with any of the following: systems design, RPG design, combat design.
