Project Manager

Exiin is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to oversee the development of our latest 3D narrative-based rogue-lite game. You will lead a talented team of seniors and enthusiastic juniors in a flat organizational structure, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role is on-site at our headquarters in the vibrant center of Brussels.

Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to release, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide the team through each phase of development.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with designers, artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive workflow and timely project completion.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the project and stays on track.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for both quality and creativity throughout the development process.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency on project progress and any potential issues.
• Iterative Improvements: Implement agile scrum methodology for iterative project improvements, ensuring continuous enhancement of processes and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 5 years of project management experience in the game development industry.
• Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering game development projects on time and within budget.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an agile scrum methodology for iterative project improvements.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey project goals and updates to stakeholders and team members.
• Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with game development processes and technologies.
