For our consoles and pc division, we are looking for a Gameplay Developer Unreal Engine.
Your role will focus on developing gameplay functionalities for console and PC video games.
Your missions
· You will work closely with the Game Designer and be responsible for following his instructions.
· As part of the project, you’ll develop new gamified experiences and gameplay features to facilitate their integration by the game designer.
· You document your codes and make sure that the information is accessible to everyone, especially the Game Designer.
· You update and quality-control the results generated by your project.
Candidate Profile
· You have a degree in computer science and proven experience in development.
· You have experience in Unreal Engine development.
· You enjoy working on different and varied projects.
· You are autonomous and know how to achieve your objectives.
· You have an interest in user experience.
· You like to play in general and have fun at work.
· You know how to work in a team and enjoy being at the heart of innovation.
Technical skills
· You are familiar with basic architecture patterns such as Observer, MVC, singleton, etc.
· You have a good knowledge of Unreal Engine’s basic classes (player controller, player state, game mode, etc.) and their responsibilities.
· You’re very comfortable developing on the Unreal Engine (Blueprint or C++).
· You have a good knowledge of graphical interface composition on Unreal Engine.
· You know how to read and understand UML diagrams.
· You are comfortable with agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc.).
· You know how to work with Source Control (Git, Perforce, etc.).
· Gamification skills a plus.
