Cybernetic Walrus, and we’re working on a co-op sim game. It’s tactile, chaotic, and very, very weird. We’re looking for amedior Unity gameplay programmerto join our small but mighty team inAntwerp.
What you’ll do:
-
Design and implement core gameplay features (player tools, shop systems, tech trees, etc.) in Unity (HDRP).
-
Build tactile, physical-feeling systems—think buttons, levers, slime gadgets, and more.
-
Implement and maintain robust co-op multiplayer features.
-
Work closely with the rest of the team to balance silly fun with clean code and smooth gameplay.
-
Take ownership of features from concept to polish—this is not a cog-in-the-machine job.
-
Someone with 2–4 years of experience in game development using Unity and C#.
-
Able to demonstrate shipped experience on at least one commercial game (as part of a studio/team—not as a solo developer, installation, or student/educational project).
-
Skilled at implementing networked multiplayer gameplay systems (co-op experience is a big plus).
-
Comfortable working with physics-based, tactile systems and player-centric gameplay design.
-
Self-sufficient, communicative, and unafraid to prototype weird ideas.
-
Based in Belgium (or able to work from our office in Antwerp without relocation assistance).
What we offer:
-
A fun, fast-moving team of 7 people building games with character and chaos.
-
3 days on-site role in our Antwerp office—2 days remote from home.
-
Health insurance, meal vouchers, and public transport travel reimbursement.
-
A hands-on role in a game that’s already turning heads and making people laugh.
-
No corporate layers—just games, gameplay, and good coffee.
