Note This is a temporary role. We anticipate the contract will last between 4 to 6 months. If you have strong 3D generalist skills next to your animation skills and would prefer an indefinite position, we encourage you to apply to the 3D Generalist role instead.
About Oddshot Games
Oddshot Games is a small studio developing and publishing Slapshot: Rebound. We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming over 2 million players to the game over the years. Alongside Slapshot, we’re working on exciting new projects and to make the most of them we’d love to bring a 3D Animator on board that shares our excitement and passion for multiplayer video games.
About you
– You’re comfortable with remote work and live in Flanders.
– You have experience with 3D animation through previous work or graduated with a relevant college degree.
– You’re no stranger to setting your own schedule, estimating workloads and communicating progress.
Responsibilities
– Create 3D animations using custom rigs
– Clean up and adjust existing animations
– Retarget animations to fit custom rigs
Qualifications
– Shipped any game regardless of commercial performance (game jams count)
– Strong communicator and able to think along with the game designers
– Experience working in Blender and know your way around Unreal Engine 5
Bonus points
– Experience with Perforce
– Experience working in small teams
– Have worked on any form of sports game before

Our interview process
If you have followed our instructions above, we will always reply to your application. If we think there’s a potential match, we’ll set up an interview to get to know each other (30 – 60 min). After a successful interview, we might ask for a small competency test if you don’t have a lot of public showcases of your skills yet. After, one more call is set up to discuss the test and/or meet some other people on the team before a decision is made.
