Senior Environnement 3D Artist

After the successful launch of our games Faeria and Roguebook, we are looking for a non-remote Senior 3D Artist with a predilection for enviroments ! You love creating polished game ready 3D assets such as environments props, cities, forest… ? And you have a devouring passion for gaming ? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for ! This job is a full time position with some remote flexibility available (Liège / Belgium).

Mission :

• Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, hand-painted 3D models, including an understanding of how to produce assets which are optimized, performant and bug-free
• Work with various materials from hand-painted diffuse to PBR workflow
• Partner with creative leadership to realize the vision of the game and develop our graphical universes.
• Mentor and assist other artists in achieving great assets and improve their skills
• Participate to game review sessions : Play the game as it is being developed and help us understand how to make it better
• Collaborate with all members of the team to make sure artworks fit within technical, design, and production requirements.

Background :

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a 3D artist in game development.
• Demonstrated ability to ship Game ready 3D assets
• Experience working with Blender
• Great modelling and rendering techniques
• Affinity with hand-painted textures
• Professional experience in working in stylized art styles
• Eye for light, good understanding of composition, shade, colors
• Passionate gamer, team player
• Good spoken and written English
• Must be willing to complete an art test

Plusses :

• Experience using the Unity engine and Git versioning.
• French speaker.
• Love for strategy games, card games or RPGs.

This role is to be held on site at our offices in Liège / Belgium.
