The Artistocrats is known for the turn-based historical strategy game Order of Battle – WW2 and the more recent real-time strategy title Starship Troopers: Terran Command, based on Paul Verhoeven’s cult sci-fi classic. We are passionate about strategy and management games and are dedicated to establish our studio as a well-known and respected developer in these genres.

What the job entails:

We’re seeking a versatile artist with strong 3D and 2D skills to join our team.

In this role, you’ll create a wide range of 3D assets – characters, weapons, vehicles, environments, and props – while participating in every step of the creative process, from designing and modeling to texturing, rigging, and skinning.

In addition to 3D work, you’ll focus on 2D artwork, crafting compelling concept art, design sketches, as well as 2D icons and UI assets for our game interfaces.

The skills you need:

• 2+ years of professional experience or equivalent portfolio content.
• Extensive experience with Blender and Substance Painter
• 3D modeling, UV-mapping, texturing, skinning and rigging
• Experience with 2D icons design and UI artwork

The following skills are not required but can further enhance your value to our team:

• VFX: Experience with After Effects, Houdini, or similar software, Unity’s particle system, and basic C# knowledge.
• 3D Animation: Proficiency in Blender or Maya’s animation tools, with the ability to create animations for characters, creatures, and machines.
• Video Editing: The ability to design and create videos for marketing purposes such as gameplay videos, using software such as Adobe After Effects.
