🌍 Kwalee has announced a minority investment in Devolver Digital. The mobile publisher now holds a 3.58% share of Devolver, which was made as part of its strategy to increase exposure of its PC & console segment.
🌍 Surgent Studios has announced their closure, following results of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU not meeting expectations. Just over 12 people are affected.
🌍 Techland posts a record loss of $22.8 million for 2023. They are working on an announced RPG and have had no releases this year.
🌍 Tech & culture news websites including Vice, Gizmodo, Refinery29, Kotaku, and Lifehacker will no longer publish in Australia, with dozens of jobs to be cut as the Pedestrian Group undergoes restructuring and cost-cutting.
🌍 To prevent scalpers cashing in on the expected Switch 2, Nintendo has made an announcement that it plans to meet the huge demand expected on day one.
