- π Forza Horizon 4 (Playground Games) tops the sales charts on Steam and Xbox after news of getting delisted due to licensing problems. It even broke its record for concurrent Steam players on Thursday, June 27, climbing to almost 52,000 users.
- π Games Industry lay off news: An unknown number of staff have been let go across GAMURS Group. Affected publications include Destructoid Video Game News, Dot Esports and PC Invasion. Reorganization at Ubisoft Toronto has resulted in 33 redundancies.
- π Reminder to get your tickets for Courage Cologne if you’re going to gamescom and are already there on Tuesday.
- π Elden Ring (FromSoftware, Inc.) continues its success. It announced selling 25M copies right before the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC launched, and that massive expansion has already sold 5M copies of its own.

- π§πͺ 30 Birds by RamRam Games took home the main prize as the #INDIGO2024 Showcase winner.
- π§πͺ Bart Bonte has launched his latest mobile title called Purple, available now on Android & iOS.
- π§πͺ Volcaban Studio‘s KickStarter for their medieval themed board game Echoes of Emperors is off to a great start! It’s already 600% funded in its first week!
