Cologne, Germany – On Tuesday, August 25, the Games for Peace Mixer will bring together game developers, artists, activists, NGOs, educators, institutions and media representatives for an evening dedicated to exploring games as a force for peace, empathy and positive change just ahead of gamescom.

Hosted at Cologne's Mülheimer Kulturbunker, the event will welcome around 200 attendees from across the international games ecosystem, creating a setting that encourages meaningful conversations and genuine connections.

The evening will feature game stations showcasing titles that advocate for peace and understanding, alongside keynote contributions from leading experts and activists. Most importantly, it will provide ample opportunity to connect with fellow creators, changemakers and community builders from across the industry and beyond.

The Games for Peace Mixer is organized by a team of enthusiastic volunteers. Key members include Isabel Grünberg (GAME:IN/Positive Impact Games), Tristan Hantschel (Freelance), and David Zapfe-Wildemann (Neoludic).

Isabel Grünberg states: "There's no stronger driver of hope than connection & community, so why not make an event where we can share our grievances to stay hopeful and build a better tomorrow."

So come celebrate the positive power of games with us!
