Junior Financial Accountant

As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Junior Financial Accountant to join the team and help us in crafting the high caliber games our fans have come to expect.

Responsibilities

  • The role below indicates the responsibilities the Accountant should grow into, following a longer period of extensive on-the-job training and continued support.
  • Responsible for monthly general ledger close activities of two entities within Larian group (a local Belgian and another one);
  • Processing AP invoices, expense notes, issue invoices, bank and company card reconciliations;
  • Preparing VAT returns and any other related VAT compliance tasks;
  • Assisting and following up on corporate tax files and possible tax incentives programs;
  • Preparing documents and assisting during year-end audit or any other audit activities;
  • Supporting in other finance projects;

Requirements

  • Bachelor Accounting-Tax
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience within an international and fast-growing environment; (Recent graduates qualify!)
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business requirements;
  • IT minded – Advanced and proficient in the use of MS Excel;
  • Any experience with ERP systems (working or internship))
  • Strong team player;
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, eager to contribute and learn;
  • Good communicator, excellent on Dutch/English language

Nice to haves

  • Knowledge of VAT, ERP systems
  • Knowledge of MS Query, Power BI etc
