Aegic Entertainment
Aegic Entertainment is looking for a skilled and motivated generalist marketer. This is a 100% remote position, and we are open to freelance, full-time and part-time applications. Candidates in Belgium or willing to relocate to Belgium in the long term are preferred.
In short, your job is to get our projects seen by people - in whatever way works! As generalist marketer, you work closely with the studio head to do general marketing on Aegic's game projects. This includes content creation (writing, designing, recording, video editing) and distribution and publishing (posting on social media, running ads, setting up and handling distribution back-ends). This may also include customer-facing tasks: appearing on video, narrating, PR managing and community management. You will do anything from guerilla marketing to paid marketing campaigns to networking and internal planning.
You are organized, creative, driven and like the puzzle-solving aspect of marketing. You have strong visual skills, particularly in 2D graphic design. In this position, drive and attitude are more important than raw marketing experience; we anticipate thorough onboarding.
Salary scale: Audiovisual sector PC 227. To apply, email [email protected] with [GENERALIST MARKETER APPLICATION] in the subject, your resume (PDF or web link), links to past work and a genuine cover letter.
Desired: experience as a professional marketer (ideally in a game studio), experience within the game industry, strong organization and planning skills, experience in paid advertising, solid understanding of organisation tools (Miro, Notion, Google Docs/Sheets).

Aegic Entertainment came about after a 7 year long solo development endeavour actually somehow worked out. Okay, it wasn't just an alignment of cosmic bodies. I made a game, self published it, and it spread around. No marketing budget - just word-of-mouth, grassroots style success. That's pretty neat.
The point is: Aegic is built on a strong and unique story and an awesome cohort of supportive players who showed up, believed in it and made it something bigger. Now? We're here to make more games - driven by creativity & passion, for the people who made this journey possible.
