Aegic Entertainment
Aegic Entertainment is looking for a skilled and motivated operations manager. This is a full-time, 100% remote position. Candidates in Belgium or willing to relocate to Belgium in the long term are preferred.
As an operations manager, you work closely with the studio head to manage and handle the general operations of the company. You take on any tasks inside the game studio that are not directly game development: financial tracking and processing, office inventory and admin, communication, organisation of travel/events (GDC, Gamescom), employment and payroll related tasks, and deadline and production tracking. This may also include customer-facing tasks like PR managing, social media management, marketing campaigns and copywriting.
You are organised, detail oriented and very flexible to do whatever the company needs at any given time, enabling the rest of the team to focus on game development. There is room for lateral movement into more direct game development as well.
Salary scale: Audiovisual sector PC 227. To apply, email [email protected] with [OPERATIONS MANAGER APPLICATION] in the subject, your resume (PDF or web link), links to any past work and a genuine cover letter.
Desired: experience within the game industry, business management skills, interest and experience in (game) marketing principles.

Aegic Entertainment came about after a 7 year long solo development endeavour actually somehow worked out. Okay, it wasn't just an alignment of cosmic bodies. I made a game, self published it, and it spread around. No marketing budget - just word-of-mouth, grassroots style success. That's pretty neat.
The point is: Aegic is built on a strong and unique story and an awesome cohort of supportive players who showed up, believed in it and made it something bigger. Now? We're here to make more games - driven by creativity & passion, for the people who made this journey possible.
