Senior Prop Artist (Hard Surface & Sculpting)

Cyborn is looking for a senior prop artist who can quickly adapt and leverage every tool available, is flexible in both hard-surface modeling and digital sculpting, and creates highly realistic assets optimized for mobile VR experiences. You will craft props and hero assets for a detailed, atmospheric world on our ambitious new title.
Responsibilities
- You will model, sculpt, texture and optimize realistic props and hero assets, from hard-surface mechanisms to organic sculpted pieces.
- You will own assets end-to-end: high-poly, retopology, baking, PBR texturing, LODs and in-engine integration in Unreal Engine.
- You will optimize aggressively for mobile VR: polycounts, draw calls, texture budgets and material complexity.
- You will quickly adopt and leverage any tool that speeds up quality output, including modern and AI-assisted workflows.
- You communicate daily with the production manager.
Requirements
- You have several years of professional 3D art experience and have shipped at least one title.
- You are flexible across hard-surface modeling and digital sculpting (e.g. Maya/Blender, ZBrush, Substance).
- You have demonstrable experience creating realistic assets within tight performance budgets; mobile or mobile VR experience is a big plus.
- You are pragmatic, fast and adaptable in your toolset.
- You know how to work with source control.
- You have a great attention for detail.
- You have a positive work drive and can work efficiently towards tight deadlines.
- You are willing to work on location in Antwerp, Belgium.
