Would you like to join a team of dedicated technical and vfx artists who are pushing the boundaries for what can be done in VR? To help us support our long-term partner Flat2VR (Trombone Champ: Unflattened, Roboquest VR, Out of Sight VR) on epic unannounced projects, we're looking for a technical artist or graphics engineer/programmer skilled with Unreal Engine's render pipeline.
Responsibilities include GPU profiling and suggesting optimizations, implementing optimizations (engine customization and lower level tasks), communicating process improvements with designers and artists, aiding in the creation of tools to automate artists' work or edit assets, and helping other technical artists author tricky shaders.
We work on very varied projects in a caring, crunch-free setting. We are fully remote with occasional & optional meet-ups. Work hours and style can be accommodated to your needs along the central European to US time-zones.
