May 2026's 10 most-played Belgian games
Concurrent-player counts are the clearest signal of which Belgian titles found their audience in May 2026. Each chart shows the daily Steam CCU trajectory across the month, tracked by GameIndustry.be; the number underneath is the single-day peak. All charts share the same scale, so curve heights are directly comparable across games.
In May 2026, Belgian games on Steam reached a combined peak of 68,380 concurrent players across the entire catalog tracked by GameIndustry.be — not just the 10 titles listed above.
Largest trending-score gains in May 2026
Trending scores combine player activity, follower growth, review velocity, and press attention into a single index tracked by GameIndustry.be. Each chart shows the daily trending trajectory across May 2026; the headline number is the absolute gain from the first to the last day of the month.
Where Belgian-game audiences grew and got loudest in May 2026.
Discord activity is a leading signal for indie traction. The left column ranks Belgian servers by percentage growth in total members across May 2026, measured from the first to the last day of the month by GameIndustry.be. The right column lists the communities that ended the month with the most online users. When a server belongs to a studio rather than a single game, the studio is shown once instead of duplicating its catalog.

Meet ’n Play is a monthly game event held at Textielhuis in Kortrijk, taking place on the first Wednesday of every month. The event brings together gamers, game developers, and people from the local game industry in an informal and welcoming setting.Visitors can playtest upcoming games from local developers, discover new projects at an early stage, and connect with others who share an interest in games and game development. Developers are invited to showcase their work and gather valuable feedback, while attendees can enjoy a drink and casual conversations throughout the evening.Whether you’re a gamer looking to try new games, a developer seeking playtesting and networking opportunities, or simply curious about the local game scene, Meet ’n Play is open to everyone.
Let's get together and chat about playing games, making them and loving them. Share snacks, drinks, thoughts - or just a few laughs. Our meetups are cosy gatherings aimed at connecting female / female-identifying developers with one another. This time at C-mine crib in Genk!Registrations: https://idisen.be/meetups/

Game development isn’t linear. Codecks supports real pipeline workflows with parallel work and dependencies. It organises everything around assets like: characters, levels, and sound, so you can track each one from concept to completion. All related tasks and blockers stay connected in one place, making the progress clear at every step. About the speaker: Riad has been doing video games for over 20 years. From mobile games, to AAA, to founding his own indie studio. He's now focusing on helping other game devs run their game production successfully.

The Game Dev Afterwork is a monthly meetup open to everyone—whether you’re part of the video game industry in Belgium (professionals, students) or simply curious to discover it.By default, we meet on the second-to-last Friday of the month, starting at 5:00 PM, in a friendly, welcoming, and pressure-free atmosphere: just come grab a drink after your work week, chat, meet people, and unwind with fellow devs and enthusiasts.📍 New: We’re back at "W" (ex- L’Atelier de La Manufacture Urbaine) in Charleroi: https://wcharleroi.beThe restaurant offers a “Give Me 5” deal on Fridays before 6:00 PM, with a selection of tapas and cocktails for just €5.This will, by default, be our go-to spot for the next editions.💡 Good to know:Everyone chooses and pays for their own drinks directly at the bar.No need to bring a prototype or portfolio (unless you’d like feedback).Registration is strongly recommended on Eventbrite: it helps us determine the space that will be allocated to us.Following the theme (like “Christmas sweaters”) are always optional. The event is meant to be easygoing: come and go whenever you like; you’re obviously not required to arrive at 5:00 PM.An activity hosted by Maracas Studio.
6 Belgian titles added to the catalog in May 2026, with the launch still ahead.
Each of these games surfaced in our database during May 2026 — whether revealed by the studio, picked up by Steam, or surfaced through IGDB — and is scheduled for a future window.
How we put together the monthly recap of the Belgian game industry.
Month in Review is an automated, data-driven recap of every game made by Belgian studios. It publishes on the first day of each month, covering the previous calendar month from launch dates through to live community signals.
Releases are sourced from a combination of self-reported launch dates, Steam, and IGDB. Peak concurrent-player counts are aggregated from daily Steam snapshots collected by GameIndustry.be. When available, Discord member growth is measured from the first to the last day of the report month for each official server, the YouTube section ranks videos published in-month by view count, the screenshot gallery samples the latest media from in-month launches, and the on-the-horizon list surfaces titles whose record was created during the month with a release date still in the future.
